The GTMC has announced that Uniglobe member Top Flight Travel has become the thirty - eighth member of the organisation. The announcement comes only days after Meon Valley Business Travel signed up for membership to the UK’s leading professional industry body representing travel management companies.
Top Flight Travel was incorporated in August 1992 and is Uniglobe’s largest affiliate within Europe. The company has its headquarters in Reading, Berkshire and also has an office in London and employs over 60 members of staff.
Uniglobe Top Flight Travel’s founder and chief executive Barry Baty said: ” In this rapidly changing industry it is ever important to align oneself and share information with the best in the business and membership of the GTMC will afford us that - so we are delighted to become members and hope to make a positive contribution to the organisation. The GTMC membership clearly stands and speaks as the voice of the industry.”
GTMC chief executive Paul Wait said: “We warmly welcome Uniglobe Top Flight Travel to the GTMC and it’s very encouraging that in these times of post recession and consolidation within the TMC community we are attracting new members. The benefits of membership are far reaching and include unrivalled opportunity to establish networks, and exchange views and experiences, with peers, suppliers and key industry stakeholders including attendance at the ultimate networking experience the GTMC overseas conference, which this year takes place later this month in Barcelona.”
