Barefoot Romance
Island romance dreaming? Grand Lucayan’s special three-day/two-night Island Romance getaway includes deluxe accommodations in an Ocean View room, strawberries and champagne in room one morning, buffet breakfast daily and a special dinner for two at the resort’s fine dining restaurant, China Beach. Couples can retreat to a romantic spa suite and enjoy some pampering time together at the resort’s Senses Spa, where they’ll receive a 50-minute “Sense of Togetherness” couple’s massage. Families that Play Together, Stay Together
Grand Lucayan will bring families together with its Familymoon package. The package includes four days/three nights in a spacious guestroom, breakfast daily, turndown service for adults with sparkling wine and strawberries and milk and cookies for children on night of arrival, two hours of babysitting, dinner for two at China Beach (up to $100 in value) and late check-out to give families extra time to enjoy the resort at their own pace. Plus, children under 12 stay and eat free. In addition, guests who book the package can receive 25 percent off the Underwater Explorers Society’s (UNEXSO) Dolphin Connection program; the program allows families to get up close and personal with dolphins and learn about the fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Baltimore Ravens’ Calendar Girls
Ravens’ football fans will have one more reason to celebrate the successful season at Grand Lucayan. The Baltimore Ravens have chosen Grand Bahama Island and Grand Lucayan, Bahamas as their destination of choice for the 2013 cheerleader calendar shoot. From April 8-15, 2012, guests will have a chance to meet the beautiful Ravens cheerleaders in person, get a sneak peek of the calendar shoot and watch the girls in action as they pose on the resort’s breathtaking beach, around the pools and palm-fringed landscapes.
