Göke reappointed as Messe Berlin chief executive

The supervisory board of Messe Berlin has agreed to an early renewal of the contract with chief executive Christian Göke.

The original contract was due to expire in 2016.

As chief executive officer Göke has been head of Messe Berlin since July 1st 2013.

Peter Zühlsdorff, chairman of the supervisory board of Messe Berlin, said: “The supervisory board is extremely satisfied with the company’s economic performance and Christian Göke’s leadership.

“For this reason, and in recognition of his outstanding achievements, the supervisory board and the representatives of the shareholders have agreed an early renewal of his contract.“

In 2014, marking a new turnover record of more than €269 million, Messe Berlin concluded its most successful financial year in the company’s entire history.
