Train operator East Coast is helping its customers to ‘get in the zone’ and save with an exciting new deal on First Class travel.

The 936 mile network of East Coast routes, stretching from London King’s Cross to Inverness, has been split into three zones, A – C, with special one-way First Class fares costing available depending on which zones customers travel across.

Passengers booking ahead from today (Thursday 13th) to Tuesday 18th October via a dedicated page, www.eastcoast.co.uk/zones , can take advantage of the fare offer by visiting the East Coast website, where they will be able to book First Class tickets for travel between 3rd November and 16th December.

East Coast Commercial and Customer Service Director Peter Williams said: “Our First Class fare promotion is a great way for our customers to visit many of the fantastic destinations the East Coast route has to offer.

“The bargain low fares, combined with our complimentary At-Seat food and drinks service in First Class, offers even better value for money when compared to driving, flying or going by coach.
