Germanwings to operate four new routes in the summer

Germanwings continues to grow this summer with the addition of four new routes from the capital.

From July 4th 2014, the German airline will be flying from Berlin/Tegel to Barcelona and Zagreb and on August 31st Germanwings will launch new connections to Moscow (Vnukovo) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).

In Berlin, parent company Lufthansa will hand over a further two routes on July 4th 2014.

Germanwings will fly daily to Barcelona in the future, with the Germanwings Airbus departing on weekdays from Tegel at 10:55, and an hour earlier on Tuesdays.

On weekends, different flight times will apply.

The airline will fly to Zagreb four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing at 06:30 for the Croatian capital.

From August 31st 2014, Germanwings will commute between Paris and Berlin twice a day during the week and once on Saturday and Sunday.

Departures will be from Berlin at 06:55 and will land at 08:40 in the French capital whereas the evening flight will take off for Paris at 18:20, with the return flight scheduled to reach Berlin at 22.15.

Germanwings will also start operating between Berlin and Moscow – both of these were routes were previously operated by Lufthansa.

Germanwings departs for the Russian capital every weekday at 10.30, whereas the Airbus leaves for Berlin at 14.10 on Sundays.

The return flight from Moscow is timetabled on weekdays at 14:50 and Sundays at 17:30.
