Home to the ‘Mata Atlântica’ or Atlantic Rainforest, Ilha Grande is famous for its tropical beaches, waterfalls, caves and rivers. It has one of the richest ecosystems in the world and is a hotspot for biodiversity and conservation, containing many endangered species.
