Four Seasons New York donates to non-profit clean the world foundation

Every 10 seconds, a child dies from a disease that could have been prevented with proper hygiene. This summer, Four Seasons Hotel New York will join Clean The World Foundation’s global hygiene revolution and donate all leftover bars of soap and partially used bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion to this organization.

The items will be recycled on a weekly basis and will be used in hygiene kits distributed to domestic homeless shelters in the US or sent to one of the 45 countries that partake in this program.

“We salute Clean The World’s mission to save lives around the world and are proud to be partners of such a worthwhile initiative,” says Christoph Schmidinger, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel New York.

Clean The World Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization committed to reducing the waste created by discarded soap and shampoo products and preventing the millions of deaths caused by hygiene-related illnesses around the world. Clean the World was founded in February 2009 by Shawn Seipler and Paul Till based in Orlando, Florida.
