Four Seasons Jakarta - Official Sponsor of 2012 Indonesian Masters

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is the Official Hotel of the Indonesian Masters presented by PNTS, an Asian Tour golf tournament.

The mega success of the inaugural Indonesian Masters on the Asian Tour in 2011 has led PT Pelayaran Nasional Tanjungriau Service (PNTS) into becoming the event’s new presenting sponsor for the 2012 edition, among a host of sponsors who have committed to the event including BMW (Official Car), Coca-Cola (Official Drinks Partner), Thiess (Main Partner), Navigat Group (Main Partner) and San Miguel (Official Beer).

“We are happy to be part of this prestigious event and look forward to welcoming the star players and everyone to Indonesia and to Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta,” said Vikram Reddy, general manager of the Hotel.

The Indonesian Masters presented by PNTS will be held at the prestigious Royale Jakarta Golf Club from April 19 to 22, 2012. The USD 750,000 tournament made a memorable debut on the Asian Tour last year, won by England’s Lee Westwood. The popular victory, on Westwood’s 38th birthday, pushed him to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking – albeit briefly.

Organizers also announced various initiatives to develop the game at the grassroots level with the launch of the Indonesian Masters Amateur League. The winner of the Order of Merit after five legs will earn a sponsor’s invitation to compete in the Indonesian Masters next year. A Junior League and Golf Clinics/Workshops will also be organized by the Indonesian Golf Association (PGI), giving opportunity for youths of the nation to participate in the Indonesian Masters activities.
