Four Seasons at Peninsula Papagayo names Paul Nunez as New Spa Director
Paul brings 17 years of experience in Spa, most recently as opening spa director at the Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami, Florida and previously as spa director at the Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Miami. He has also worked for Aveda as a global spa educator, taught massage at the Aveda Institute in Saint Petersburg, Florida and served as a private consultant for spas, developing treatment menus and sourcing talent.

Many of the signature treatments at the Spa at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica, including the Natural Healing Bamboo Massage, Organic Costa Rican Coffee Scrub and Marvellous Mango Sugar Scrub, incorporate local ingredients from Costa Rica.
The Spa setting features naturally chic décor, unique and dramatic sculpture and paintings by Costa Rican artists including Adrian Arguedas and Paulina Ortiz, and a relaxation area with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the dry tropical forest of Peninsula Papagayo and the Pacific Ocean. The Spa area also features a hair salon and plunge pools.
For more ways to feel healthy, guests can take advantage of the two-level fitness centre at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica. The fitness centre features stationary, recumbent and spin bicycles, stairclimbers, treadmills and strength stations and classes in spinning, yoga and pilates. In addition, certified fitness trainers are available to help guests reach their own individual health and fitness goals.
