Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is delighted to announce the introduction of a baggage script for Amadeus agents which streamlines and simplifies the current manual intervention for pre-payment of hold baggage.

Subscribers can access the script, developed by Navitas Solutions from the Amadeus Selling Platform. The tool automates the whole baggage process - calculating the baggage charge and then completing the relevant GDS entries to store all the information in the PNR. Payment is automatically generated thereby streamlining back office accounting processes and avoiding credit card reconciliations on GDS bookings retrieved via the web.
