Flybe, the UK’s Number One domestic airline, receives many calls each year from people wanting to find out all about a career with the airline as a cabin crew member - and now Flybe’s Training Centre is offering the ideal ‘hands-on’ opportunity during its ‘Introduction to Cabin Crew’ days, the first of which is being held at its Exeter base on Monday June 7th (see later dates below).
The intensive one-day ‘Introduction to Cabin Crew’ programme includes an introduction to the airline, sessions on dealing with emergency situations and safety equipment, the chance to experience an emergency slide descent and hearing first-hand about what a day in the life of a cabin crew member actually entails.
Simon Witts, Flybe’s Director for the Training Academy says: “Flybe trains and employs some of the best cabin crew in the industry. Our ‘Introduction to Cabin Crew’ days have been designed specifically to give a comprehensive overview of the profession for those who have been considering it as a career. With school-leavers considering job opportunities, an increasing number of people choosing to change careers in their 20’s and 30’s, and a rise in graduates looking for jobs each year, these one day seminars give people a chance to see if it’s really the job for them.”
