First Best Western Premier Hotel opens in Kansas

The first BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotel in Kansas opened last month in Kansas City. With 82 guestrooms, an on-site lounge and Pause… The Spa, the newly-built BEST WESTERN PREMIER KC Speedway Inn & Suites is located in the heart of Village West, at the entrance to the Kansas Speedway and across from LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.

The hotel is the eleventh BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotel to open in the United States. First introduced in North America in early 2011, BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotels offer travelers an upscale travel experience. Guestrooms feature guestLINK, which lets travelers plug in their laptops, camcorders, digital cameras, game systems, DVD players, iPods, iPads or other device to surf the internet or look at photos or videos on the rooms’ 42-inch HDTVs. Guests also can listen to their music on surround sound speakers.

“We are excited to welcome the BEST WESTERN PREMIER KC Speedway Inn & Suites to our hotel portfolio,” said David Kong, Best Western International president and CEO. “Its location is second-to-none, and the hotel has the upscale features that make travelers’ stays both comfortable and efficient.”

Amenities at the BEST WESTERN PREMIER KC Speedway Inn & Suites include high-end linens, pillow top mattresses, free high-speed wireless internet access, free full breakfast, in-room microwaves and refrigerators, and in-room bottled-water quality water filtration system. Hotel guests and non-guests can book appointments for massages, facials and other spa treatments at the on-site “ Pause… the Spa .”

Hotel décor is influenced by its racetrack location, including black and white photos of the Kansas Speedway in each guestroom.
