Fflybe adds capacity to assist Christmas new year travel plans

Flybe, the UK’s Number One Domestic Airline, has today - due to unprecedented demand – added six flights and upgraded capacity on its popular Jersey to London Gatwick service for travel on December 24th, 26th, 27th and January 2nd with operations being boosted by one of its Embraer 195 jet aircraft. Channel Island travellers also have the option of a direct Q400 service to and from London Luton airport; or services to Southampton from which London is easily accessible.

The airline is pulling out all the stops to assist people concerned about completing their travel plans over the upcoming Christmas and New Year period and highlights that a selection of Flybe’s other London Gatwick routes also offer possible alternatives including those to and from Aberdeen, Dusseldorf and Newcastle.

Flybe also operates 76 direct routes to Europe from regional airports such as Birmingham, Exeter, Manchester and Southampton providing convenient non stop flights from local airports. This gives options to those needing to fly to Europe either as an end destination or as a connecting point for ongoing long haul travel without having to travel via London, an example being Flybe’s direct Manchester to Milan service.

“Increased demand has been especially heavy on our popular London Gatwick to Jersey service which is why we have upped capacity on this particular route. Flybe’s established operations to and from Jersey are testament to the reliable and affordable model that has made us the UKs Number One Domestic Airline.”

Flybe also has an extensive list of Interline agreements with 140 long haul carriers giving travellers booking with travel agents convenient seamless travel from UK airports.
