FCm Travel Solutions has strengthened its global focus on customer-facing technology and product development with the appointment of Katie Thomas into the new role of global product manager traveller services.
Based in London she will focus on leading FCm’s global product development, management and support for traveller technology solutions and services.
These products currently include FCm’s customer web portal (ClientPortal), global traveller mobile application (FCmobile) and global profile management tool.
Katie Thomas’ career with FCm Travel Solutions spans some 14 years latterly as UK eCommerce area leader since 2010.
Before that she was UK operations centre area leader responsible for business improvement, online systems, and out-of hours service for five years.
Other key FCm roles include managing the TMC’s Bristol office and overseeing the roll-out company-wide of FCm’s online rail booking tool.
“I am thrilled to be part of FCm’s global technology team,” said Katie Thomas.
“We have a clear vision and it’s exciting to be involved with the development of new products for FCm’s global network.
“These initiatives will deliver a broad range of benefits to our customers.
Thomas will report to FCm’s global technology leader in the USA John Morhous.
She will also work closely with FCm’s global online team, portal web developers and operations teams around the network.
