FCM Travel Solutions has announced Pip English has taken up the position of global risk product leader, based at the UK headquarters in New Malden.

In his new role, English is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the company’s travel risk management programme globally.

He manages and supports procedural enhancements to the brand’s travel risk management system, while also working with FCM’s team of regional risk leaders in monitoring and evaluating global incidents that could affect the company’s corporate customers.

Crisis communications and continuity management are also components of his role. 

Regarding his appointment, English commented: “I’m delighted to have joined FCM Travel Solutions, one of the top global corporate travel management companies.

“I’m looking forward to sharing my experience and expertise to help further develop the travel risk management strategy for the group.”

With over ten years of travel industry experience, English joins FCM Travel Solutions from Carlson Wagonlit Travel where he worked as a global travel risk management advisor to British Petroleum for three years.

During his career he also gained valuable experience working for Singapore Airlines.
