Moving into a management position at this distinctive Fort Worth, TX hotel, Upshaw brings with her world-travel and hometown hospitality experience in addition to her International business degree. She began her career with Tharaldson Hospitality as a housekeeper at the age of 16 and quickly moved to front desk duties. Taking a break from the company in May of 2009, Upshaw moved to Orlando, FL for the summer before returning to finish her studies. After obtaining her degree, she and her fiancé, moved to Bolivia for several months, where they volunteered as English teachers. On their way home, they were lucky enough to spend three weeks traveling through Argentina.
