EXPO 2017 flag will sail round the world for the first time

Kazakhstan traveler Sapar Iskakov will carry flag of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 around the world.

Start of the expedition is scheduled on January 10, 2014 from the Port of Southampton (England). Travelers will visit more than 20 countries. The around-the-world cruise will be finished in London on May 10, 2014

During his voyage, Sapar Iskakov will meet with representatives of international organizations and tell about Kazakhstan as well as holding the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana. Previously, as a member of the International Group, he hoisted the flags of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana city and “Nur Otan” People’s Democratic Party at the South Pole (Antarctica, 2007), North Pole (Arctic, 2008), and took a flight into the stratosphere at an altitude of 22,000 m (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). In total, he visited more than 100 countries.

A group of four people, including journalist and cameraman will make an around-the-world cruise on Queen Elizabeth 6* cruise ship on the route: London, England (Southampton) - New York, USA - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - Aruba - Limon, Costa Rica - Panama Canal (transit) - Puntarenas, Costa Rica - San Francisco, California, USA (2 days) - Honolulu, Hawaii - Maui, Hawaii – Lahaina, Hawaii - Pago Pago, American Samoa - crossing the International Date Line - Nukualofa (Tonga Islands) - Tauranga, New Zealand - Auckland, New Zealand - Bay of Islands, New Zealand - Sydney, Australia (2 days) - Brisbane, Australia - Great Barrier Reef, Australia - Rabaul, Papua, New Guinea - Kochi, Japan - Yokohama, Japan - Kobe, Japan - Nagasaki, Japan - Busan, South Korea - Shanghai, China - Siamen, China - Hong Kong, 2 days - Halong Bay, Vietnam - Chan May, Vietnam - Singapore, 2 days - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Penang, Malaysia - Colombo, Sri Lanka - Bombay, India (Mumbai) - Abu Dhabi, UAE - Dubai, United Arab Emirates (2 days) - Petra, Jordan (Aqaba) - Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt - Cairo, Egypt (Sokhna) - Suez Canal (transit) - Port Said, Egypt - Naples\Pompeii, Italy - Mallorca, Spain (Palma) - Lisbon, Portugal - London, England.
