Exclusive partnership adds garnish to Scotland’s heritage

A partnership between two prestigious Scottish brands will add flavour to events at some of Scotland’s most beautiful historic properties, as the National Trust for Scotland and Heritage Portfolio Ltd join forces to provide five-star hospitality at four of Scotland’s famous heritage venues.

Through this exciting new partnership, all corporate events, weddings and private functions held at Falkland Palace, Hill of Tarvit, and Kellie Castle in Fife, and House of Dun in Angus, will be managed and catered by Heritage Portfolio Ltd.

NTS’ National Hospitality Manager, Pietro Cecchini said:

“As this exclusive partnership is a first for the Trust, I am delighted that it is with the UK Event Caterer and Independent Event Caterer of the Year 2010.

“Not only are Heritage Portfolio experts in delivering five-star hospitality within buildings and gardens of national and historic significance, their professionalism is accompanied by a true passion for food – with the emphasis on fresh, seasonal and Scottish produce.”

“This is a fantastic partnership for our clients and guests, who can now experience Scotland’s fabulous heritage from a different perspective.

“From champagne and canapés on the Rose Lawn at Falkland Palace, once a favourite hunting lodge of the Stuart Kings and Queens, to sumptuous banquets in the Great Hall at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse, there are numerous exciting opportunities for corporate events, weddings and private functions at all four properties.
