Eurostar’s 100 Millionth traveller will depart London - 09H00 to Paris 28 Aug
Eurostar, the high-speed provider of carbon neutral journeys between the UK and the continent, will be carrying over 140,000 travellers this August Bank Holiday weekend. One of the passengers will be the lucky 100 millionth Eurostar traveller who will journey on the 09h00 service from St Pancras International to Paris (via Lille) on Friday 28 August.
Eurostar’s Chief Executive, Richard Brown commented: “It promises to be a cracking Bank Holiday weekend and by reaching the 100 millionth traveller milestone we have created a “Eurostar Generation” of people who have changed their lives because of our service. Now, around 80% of the air-rail market travel by Eurostar on the London – Paris / Brussels routes.”
The 100 millionth traveller will win unlimited personal Eurostar travel for a year as well as enjoying a special celebratory event at St Pancras International and a unique experience onboard Eurostar. Other travellers on the 09h00 from London will also receive a gift.
