—Record 96% punctuality provides reliability for business

Eurostar, the international high-speed passenger service which links the UK with the continent, is helping business travellers tackle the demands of the current economic climate by saving them time and raising punctuality to even higher levels.

A new travel centre for Business Premier travellers and Carte Blanche holders has just opened immediately opposite check-in at St Pancras International, making it much more convenient for business travellers to purchase, collect and exchange tickets quickly. It is closer than the old centre and means they are just seconds from the dedicated, fast-track 10 minute check-in.

Eurostar’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Emma Harris, commented: “Since we moved to St Pancras International, it has become apparent that the location of our original Business Travel Centre was an issue for business travellers. We now have a much a better solution and the new facility is as close to check-in as it possibly can be.

“Eurostar’s punctuality of 96% is absolutely key to our business travellers, because we know minutes saved are hugely valuable. Time is more and more precious, and we our excellent reliability also reduces stress for our business travellers,” she added.

The new Business Travel Centre has four staffed desks and two self service ticket machines. It opens at 04h30 on weekdays, 05h15 on Saturdays and 06h30 on Sundays, and closes shortly after the last train has departed.
