Europcar is improving its hiring and driving service for customers in Northern Ireland with the launch of its Roadside Assistance Express.
The enhanced offering aims to get customers back on the road as quickly as possible in the event of a breakdown.
Anybody hiring or driving a Europcar vehicle in Northern Ireland now has the option to purchase Roadside Assistance Express.
In the event of a breakdown, a dedicated phone number initiates the express assistance process.
With standard roadside assistance, the customer and broken down vehicle are taken to the nearest Europcar branch where the customer is given a replacement vehicle.
The Roadside Assistance Express service goes one better; a replacement vehicle is brought to the customer, wherever they are, also covering breakdowns that occur in the Republic of Ireland.
“The new Roadside Assistance Express service being launched in Northern Ireland is designed to save customers time in the event of an emergency breakdown” explained Ken McCall, managing director, Europcar UK Group.
“We understand that customers hiring and driving in Northern Ireland can visit some remote locations, several hours away from a Europcar branch, so knowing that a replacement vehicle can be on its way in the unfortunate event of a breakdown gives an added level of peace of mind.”
