Eurail Pass receives new benefits in Italy

Eurail Group, the organisation dedicated to the marketing and management of the Eurail Pass products, is pleased to announce that several new benefits have been added to the Eurail Italy Pass.

Eurail Italy Pass holders are entitled to discounted tickets for the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and the Catacombs of Domitilla.

In addition, Eurail Italy Pass holders will also benefit from entering these attractions via dedicated “fast track” access points without having to book in advance.

For those ready to travel now, the discount also includes the special Friday night openings of the Vatican Museums in October.

Eurail Italy Pass holders can furthermore take advantage of discounted tickets for the Roma Christiana minibus experience.

This tour takes visitors inside the Vatican Gardens, a journey to the historical epicentre of the Papacy, offering a unique mixture of nature, art and faith.

Trenitalia, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, one of Europe’s leading railway enterprises and one of the main stakeholders of the Eurail Group, worked with Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi, the Vatican-related pilgrimage and tour agency, to secure these exclusive benefits for Eurail Italy Pass holders.

Another new Eurail Italy Pass benefit is a ten per cent discount offered on City Sightseeing Open Buses in Florence, Rome, Naples, Pisa, Verona, Padua, Trieste, Turin, Genoa, Milan and Livorno as the result of an agreement between Trenitalia and City Sightseeing Italy.
