Business Travel Market has announced it will be expanding its Executive PA programme during the annual event, which this year takes place on June 22nd-23rd.
Hosted by Excel, the event will see an Etihad Airways sponsored promotion specifically aimed at this important travel booking channel.
Now in its third year, BTM has been acclaimed for bringing together Europe’s top travel buyers and it recognizes that senior Executive PAs are an important part of this chain.
In recognition of the Executive PA’s role in travel booking, BTM and Etihad Airways will be inviting Executive PAs from UK Corporations to attend BTM and will be offering a designated training session, a hosted lunch and exclusive prize draw.
The free to attend two hour training seminar, will focus on issues relevant to senior travel bookers and will be conducted by industry expert Graeme Payne.
Payne, a regular speaker at travel industry events also runs his own travel training consultancy; Talking Travel.
In addition to this, Payne has written books and guides to effective travel planning.
Paul Robin, event director, Business Travel Market, said: “We believe that reaching out to the PA’s is critical in enhancing and developing business travel within their companies and therefore we endeavour to appeal to these individuals and provide them with more resources and knowledge in order that they can expand this growing industry.”
The session will be followed by lunch for all Executive PA attendees with the chance to network and visit the exhibition floor of BTM.
Furthermore, there will also be a prize draw with the chance to win an Etihad flight with hotel accommodation provided by Starwood Hotels - to enter the competition PAs simply have to visit both the Etihad and Starwood stands at BTM.
Etihad Airways was recognised as the Middle East’s Leading Airline by the prestigious World Travel Awards for the fifth consecutive year at an event in Dubai earlier this month.
