Emirates Palace has announced its tie up with the 2nd Saadiyat Beach Classic Charity event as a Prestige Partner. The event which has taken place on the Saadiyat island Golf course and ended up with a prestigious Silent Auction Gala dinner at the Emirates Palace, was a great success.

Mr. Hans Olbertz, General Manager of Emirates Palace, said that this partnership is part of the palace’s attention to support golfing in Abu Dhabi, which has become a leading global destination for this type of sport.

He praised the teamwork with Tourism Development & Investment Co., a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, which organizes the tournaments earnings to go to charity.

He said, “We are delighted at the Emirates Palace to be a privileged partner for this tournament, which includes a selection of the brightest stars in the world of golf tournament.”

The tournament comes in the context of the broad success achieved by the first session that took place early last year on the occasion of opening of the Saadiyat Beach Golf course by Gary Player, which is the only in the region that overlooks the sea.
