Ellenborough Park took the title of England’s Leading Country House Hotel at the World Travel Awards

Ellenborough Park has been awarded the title of England’s Leading Country House Hotel at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony 2016.

The World Travel Awards are the most prestigious awards programme in the travel and tourism industry and annually acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.

Winners are chosen by voters from both within travel industry and by consumers.

Nominations for the award included the likes of Lucknam Park and Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.

Ellenborough Park general manager Oliver Williams accepted the hotel’s award and commented: “We are incredibly proud to be awarded the title of England’s Leading Country House Hotel and feel it’s a fitting acknowledgment of the hard work and commitment shown by all our staff to deliver the best possible experience to our guests.”

Ellenborough Park is a country house set on the original Cheltenham Racecourse estate, which provides guests with a choice of two restaurants, an Indian-themed spa, 15 metre heated outdoor swimming pool and an extensive range of leisure activities.
