Electric vehicle charging services at Eventi in NYC

Car Charging Group, Inc, the leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, is pleased to announce that through its partnership with LAZ Parking (“LAZ”), one of the largest parking operators in the U.S., residents, guests, and visitors of Eventi, a Kimpton Hotel, will now have the ability to charge their electric cars.  Eventi is located at 851 Avenue of the Americas in New York City, and the EV charging services are located in the 29th Street parking garage, which is managed by LAZ.

A boutique Manhattan hotel, Eventi puts all of New York City at your feet and does so in style. Eventi is in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood and is just blocks from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, and Macy’s flagship store. Within easy reach from the hotel are world-renowned art galleries, performance venues and restaurants. From its famous art galleries to the infamous Chelsea Hotel, from the Chelsea Piers to the Penn Station, the neighborhood offers a rich array of culture and treasure trove of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities.

“As the largest private owner and operator of EV charging service, CarCharging has exceptional relationships with the largest parking operators,” said Brian Golomb, Vice President of Sales, CarCharging.  “We are proud to work with LAZ Parking and offer EV charging services to the residents and guests of Eventi.”
“Through many years of servicing the hospitality industry, we have perfected high-end parking services,” said Cristian De Leon, Director of Operations, NY Metro, LAZ Parking.  “Partnering with CarCharging and offering its charging services for electric cars at Eventi, provides hotel guests with the opportunity to park and charge their EV, while potentially adding revenues for our clients.”

The EV charging services at Eventi utilize a Level II EV charging station, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly recharge an electric vehicle’s battery. EV drivers can easily request CarCharging’s evCharge card online, and attach the small card to their keychain to initiate use and payment at these locations. CarCharging’s evCharge card also allows drivers to use charging locations on the ChargePoint® Network. CarCharging’s EV charging stations also accept direct payment via credit card.
