easyJet unveils new sales team at Business Travel Show

easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, today unveiled its newly created sales team at this year’s Business Travel Show in London.

The new sales team will be tasked to attract corporate clients to choose easyJet when booking business travel flights, and closely follows the launch of its Flexi Fare.

The sales team members, known as Business Partners, will work with all elements of the business travel market to help deliver efficient travel policies for today’s cost conscious companies.

Claire Haigh, easyJet’s Head of UK Sales said “Launching an “easyJet style” sales force is part of our strategy of increasing business passenger sales. A recent independent study has shown that easyJet will save companies money four out of five times on short haul travel, versus negotiated rates on legacy carriers. Therefore, we believe that there are a lot of business travel savings out there that are not currently being realised.”

James Marchant: James is a public sector specialist and joins easyJet after 5 years with Virgin Atlantic.  Responsible for Virgin’s public sector relationships James has gained considerable knowledge and understanding of the various public offices and government sectors. In his new role at easyJet James will focus on public sector departments who are serious about reducing travel costs.
