DFDS Seaways takes top World Travel Awards title in Sardinia

DFDS Seaways has been awarded the prestigious accolade of Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala 2015 in Sardinia, Italy for the fourth year in a row.

The World Travel Awards, hailed as the premier awards programme for the travel and tourism industry, are designed to recognise commitment to excellence throughout the global travel, tourism and hospitality sector.

The winners are decided by votes from travel industry professionals and consumers.

Max Foster, passenger director at DFDS Seaways commented: “We feel extremely honoured to be awarded ‘Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator’ for the fourth time.

DFDS Seaways operates a comprehensive passenger route network, incorporating four routes from the UK to Europe, via Dover-Dunkirk, Dover-Calais, Newhaven-Dieppe, and Newcastle-Amsterdam, offering passengers the perfect gateway to Europe.

DFDS also operates a number of passenger ferry routes across the Baltic Sea and a service between Copenhagen and Oslo.
