DFDS Seaways offers prize to give agents ‘a rush of blood to the head’

DFDS Seaways is launching an incentive for travel agents to win VIP tickets to see Coldplay in concert.

The carrier is considered the World’s Leading Ferry Operator by the World Travel Awards.

From January to April this year, two lucky travel agents per month will win a VIP ticket to see lead singer Chris Martin and his band at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland.

The lucky winners will enjoy a pre-concert three course meal and champagne reception, as well as watching the concert from the best seats in the house, before watching the band perform favourites including Yellow, The Scientist and Mylo Xyloto, followed by after-show refreshments.

All agents have to do to enter is when they make a customer booking for the DFDS Seaways’ Newcastle to Amsterdam or Harwich to Esbjerg routes.

They will then receive a Coldplay entry number and be entered into the prize draw to win.

Andrew Crowe, head of sales at DFDS Seaways said: “Our agents work incredibly hard to sell all our products and this incentive is our way of saying thank you.

“The more bookings a travel agent makes, the greater the chance of winning a place to see Coldplay and we hope to See you Soon at the concert.”

The incentive runs April 30th 2012.
