Delta Air Lines has confirmed it will add new daily non-stop service from Hong Kong International Airport to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport from June 18th, 2014.
Tickets will be available for purchase August 24th, 2013.
The new service from Hong Kong to Seattle will give Delta’s customers non-stop access to one of the most popular destinations for both business and leisure travels on the West Coast, as well as convenient connections to 50 additional destinations, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco via Delta and the domestic network of its strategic partner Alaska airlines.
The new service complements existing non-stop service from Hong Kong to Tokyo-Narita which offers convenient connections to eight US gateways and is an important enhancement to Delta’s growing trans-Pacific network between Asia and the US.
“With our new non-stop service to Seattle, Delta continues to build our industry-leading trans-Pacific network, one which provides the most convenient choice for our customers travelling to the US,” said Vinay Dube, Delta senior vice president – Asia Pacific.
“Over the past three years, Delta’s revenue has grown more than 60 per cent in the Asia Pacific market and we will continue to invest in the network, product and service, airport facilities and technology to improve the customer experience in the region.”
The flight will operate using a 234-seat Airbus 330-200 aircraft with 34 full-flat bed seats in BusinessElite, 32 seats in Economy Comfort and 168 Economy class seats.
Like all of Delta’s trans-Pacific flights, the new Hong Kong services feature full-flat bed seats in BusinessElite – each with direct aisle access – as well as Economy Comfort seating and in-flight entertainment in every seat throughout the aircraft.
Delta’s BusinessElite service includes a five-course gourmet meal including Chinese meal option, paired with a wine menu curated by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson.
