CT Business Travel reports 22.3% increase in turnover

Corporate travel specialist CT Business Travel announces healthy increases in its turnover despite tough trading conditions in the business travel sector.

Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UNIGLOBE member CT Business Travel is bucking industry trends by reporting substantial increases in turnover for the last two years of trading.

The end of 2011 saw the business’s turnover up 22.3% since the beginning of 2010, and whilst most of this growth was in 2010 the business still experienced positive increases for 2011.

All of the growth has been organic through securing more new client accounts seeking to use and enjoy the award winning corporate travel services that UNIGLOBE member CT Business Travel provides. This growth has meant the travel management specialist has had to increase its head count to service the additional demand in bookings the new client accounts have created.

The knock on effect of all these positive increases has also led to the business re-locating to larger premises in Tunbridge Well’s Orchard Business Park, which is where the company now operates from.

CT Business Travel’s Managing Director Mark Kempster commented, “I am greatly encouraged with our businesses performance over the last two years, especially in light of a dismal economic climate, which we continue to battle against. With that in mind we’re cautiously optimistic regarding 2012’s outlook and are looking at the potential of acquisitions to maintain our growth objectives. We also recognise that whilst the Olympics are a very positive major event for the UK, we are mindful of the impact it will have on corporate travel during and around that period”.
