Crystal: New deadline for 2012 book now fares, higher prices

Effective today, Crystal Cruises announces a new booking deadline of December 31, 2011 for revised 2012 Book Now fares.  Current applicable Book Now fares, available at www.crystalcruises.com , still offer as much as $2,000/person, or $4,000/couple, in early booking savings on select sailings—but also reflect higher rates for more than 20 other cruises

Introduced in early September, the ultra-luxe line’s Book Now promotion provides travelers with a two-month window for the lowest prices possible on every worldwide cruise aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity in 2012.  True to its word, when the previously published date expired yesterday, Crystal raised fares from $200-$2800 per couple on select cruises.  Crystal is reviewing fares every 60 days, and additional price increases are expected come January 1.

“We have extraordinary 2012 fares for what is considered one of the best, if not the best, vacation experience in the world – but these Book Now Savings are not guaranteed to last on every cruise past December 31,” says Jack Anderson, senior vice president, marketing and sales.  “With many sailings trending ahead of expectations, we have now raised fares.  Crystal is ensuring that those who book early enjoy the best pricing.”

Book Now fares offer the most attractive pricing for its worldwide 2012 cruises, including 2-for-1 rates, generous Book Now Savings, free air from many North American gateways or cruise-only credits, “As You Wish” spending credits and/or all-inclusive.

In 2012, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity will visit 182 ports-of-call in 59 countries on 60 itineraries worldwide.  Destination choices include the western and eastern Mediterranean, Black Sea, North Cape, western Europe, Greek Isles, Baltic & Russia, China, Japan, southeast Asia, Australia, South Pacific, South America, New England/Canada, Panama Canal, British Isles, Canary Islands and Mexican Riviera on itineraries of seven to 94 days.
