U.S. Marshals caught up with one of ‘Canada’s most wanted’ as he disembarked from the Carnival Inspiration on monday.

According to Canadian officials, Steven Mark Anthony Requena assaulted a woman in Canada by placing a scalpel to her throat and threatening to kill her if she did not comply with his demands.

Requena had been considered a fugitive since he fled Canada after the alleged crime, which took place back in 2007.

But when the Department of Homeland Security ran a routine check of the passenger manifest for the Carnival Inspiration, Requena’s name turned up. Authorities were waiting for Requena when the Inspiration returned to port.

He faces several charges, and probably won’t cruise again.
