Starting in February 2014, Stefania Lallai has joined Costa Cruises as the new Sustainability and PR Director. She will report directly to Costa Crociere S.p.A. Vice President Communication & Sustainability Hansjoerg Kunze.

“I am delighted at the arrival of Stefania, she’s one of Italy’s leading sustainability experts who also has extensive experience in the areas of communication and corporate relations,” commented Hansjoerg Kunze.
“Stefania will be in charge of developing socially sustainable strategies for the company and intensifying relations with our principal stakeholders.”
Stefania Lallai takes up the position at Costa Cruises following a very successful career at TNT Express Italy, where she received a succession of promotions culminating in her appointment as Communication and Corporate Responsibility Director Italy, Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

During her career she has managed key aspects of sustainability including social impact, environmental issues, voluntary work and charitable contributions. She was also previously a member of the working group for the listing of TNT N.V. in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, the global stock index that measures the performance of leading companies in terms of their sustainability practices.
