Club Med’s new family resort in Sinai Bay now opens

Club Med’s newest property for sun seekers, Club Med Sinai Bay, is now open and with dedicated family facilities, including Club Med’s first ever children’s restaurant and four clubs for children from four months old to 17 years, it promises to be one of the brand’s flagship family destinations.

From their hassle free and all inclusive booking function to their fantastic children’s clubs and sports facilities, Club Med is known for being perfect for families and at Sinai Bay, families are truly well catered for. Childcare and babysitting is available for children of four months upwards, activities for those up to 17 years include everything from sailing to football and arts and crafts, and there is even a dedicated restaurant for children up to four years – a first for Club Med. Plus, there are 33 Family Rooms, each 60m2 with interconnecting rooms and a terrace, so families can stick together as well as enjoy their own privacy, indoors and outdoors.

Having opened in December 2010, the 4 Trident Club Med Sinai Bay is the latest addition to the Club Med portfolio and targets families seeking an upmarket holiday experience. Over the 27 hectares, the resort offers ‘The Oasis’; an exclusive 5 Trident luxury space comprising of Club Rooms and Family Suites, a private swimming-pool, a private lounge space, a concierge service and a Champagne bar. There are 14 Family Suites each with 92 m2 of space, a separate living area, a 60m2 sun patio, a terrace as well as a private garden.

Club Med resorts all feature excellent sporting facilities and Club Med Sinai Bay is no exception, with four specialist academies for both beginners and enthusiasts in golf, diving, tennis and sailing. All scheduled activities and tuition are included in the Club Med package so going abroad, enjoying all the facilities and learning a new activity or sport is excellent value.

Located on the shores of one of the most splendid beaches in the Aqaba Gulf and boasting 550 metres of private beach, the newly built resort is at the heart of a natural amphitheatre. Easy access to Mount Sinai, the Coloured Canyon and Petra in Jordan means that Sinai Bay is the ideal base to explore the region as well as the fabulous underwater life of the Red Sea.  Families will be able to enjoy, not only the facilities in the resort, but special excursions such as desert safaris, hiking to Mount Sinai or visiting the cultural city of Petra.
