Chris White named Director of Marketing at Four Seasons Hualalai

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai at Historic Ka‘ūpūlehu, Hawai’i Island’s first and only AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star resort, has named Chris White as its director of marketing.

Overseeing all sales, marketing, advertising and public relations efforts, White joins the Resort with more 17 years of experience. Most recently director of sales and marketing at The St. Regis Princeville Resort on Kauai, White has also served in the same capacity at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, British Columbia; the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and the Hyatt Regency Calgary. While his career began as a senior sales manager at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, White’s first work experience in Hawaii was as associate director of sales at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa.

“Chris is a marketing pro, with international and Hawaii luxury experience and know-how,” says Robert Whitfield, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualālai. “We’re very happy to welcome him into our ohana and look forward to strong and creative sales and marketing efforts under his direction.”

A graduate of the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce and a major in marketing, White resides in Waimea, Hawaii with his wife Heather and children Carmen and Trevor. He enjoys golf, stand-up paddling, outrigger canoeing and hiking.
