Children of the Night emphasizes a rehabilitation program aimed at healing and mending the deep emotional wounds associated with child prostitution. Further, the organization provides on-site schooling and even a college preparation program. The song is written by Asia Whiteacre, a 22 year old Canadian music artist who has spent most of her life living in Southern California. At the 49th annual Grammy Awards, Ms. Whiteacre sang background vocals for Gnarls Barkley’s hit song “Crazy”. Additionally, she released her first 6-song EP at the age of just 21.
