One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius has appointed Charles de Foucault as general manager.

An accomplished hotel executive, de Foucault will report directly to Alan Leibman, chief executive of Kerzner International.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall operations of One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritius.

Charles was previously general manager of Ayana Resort & Spa in Bali, for almost three years.

Prior to joining Ayana Bali, Charles held the position of general manager for the Leela Palace in Bangalore, India.

During his time at the Leela Palace, Charles successfully opened a new wing of the hotel, adding an additional 105 rooms to the property and helping to re-define the standards for luxury in India.

Charles has over 30 years of experience in the luxury hotel segment.
