Centara’s new Mauritius resort uses heritage as design theme

Centara Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa Mauritius, which will soft open in December 2012, is a contemporary interpretation of the architectural and cultural heritage of Mauritius, seamlessly blending in with the lush surroundings and flanked by a pristine beach with its own sparkling lagoon to one side and a leaf-green mountain to the other.

Located on Poste Lafayette’s coastal road, the resort is ideally placed to explore all the charms of the island.

Set amidst manicured gardens and luxuriant surroundings, the resort’s 100 rooms feature a minimalist design, blending colors with fabrics that mirror the sun-filled landscapes and azure waters.

Most rooms sleep up to two adults and one child and in-room comforts comprise individually controlled air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, flat screen TV with international channels, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safe, IDD telephone line, wireless Internet access, iPad docking station, and a hairdryer.
