Centara Hotels boosts trade offering with new web portal

Centara Hotels & Resorts has launched a new corporate website designed to intensify its on-line presence and marketing operations.

Centara is Thailand’s largest operator of hotels, with currently 61 properties at key destinations throughout the kingdom, and overseas hotels in the Maldives, Indian Himalayas, Philippines, Vietnam, Bali in Indonesia, and Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.

The new website is designed to provide full information on each property, and improve the method to search for hotels and resorts by brand and destination.

“Our new website is more user-friendly, informative and modern in its design and reflects the direction in which the company is moving in terms of expansion and image,” said Chris Bailey, sales and marketing manager for Centara Hotels & Resorts.

“The website is also designed to allow us to continue developing our extremely proactive on-line marketing programme, which in addition to providing information, reservations forms and promotional rates, has now added an energetic social networking element into the mix.”

Bailey added the site gives greater identity to the five Centara brands, three of which have been created within the past two years.

Centara Grand Hotels & Resorts is the premium brand, and web pages devoted to these properties carry a grand design theme.

Centara Hotels & Resorts is the mid-market brand, and the web pages have a more focused style, while Centara Boutique Collection is the premium brand for independent travellers and the pages have an individualistic quality.

Centara Residences & Suites is for both the premium and mid-market sectors and the style reflects the comfort and elegance of the apartments.

Centra Hotels & Resorts is the value-end brand and the pages enhance the quality of the properties while promoting their lower accommodation rates.

“We have made the new site more attractive, easy, informative and fun for our guests and potential guests,” Bailey added.

The new site features web pages exclusively for Centara’s trade partners, which provide them with support, services and information.
