Celebrity Cruises will be operating five ships in Europe next summer, including the new Celebrity Silhouette.
Celebrity Silhouette will be the first Celebrity ship to sail from Venice, and will be based there from May to August, then on to Civitavecchia, the port of Rome, offering Holy Land itineraries.
Celebrity Solstice will sail two 12-night Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona, and Celebrity Equinox will be based in Rome, offering cruises to the Eastern Mediterranean.
Celebrity Century will run cruises from Vancouver until the end of the season in September, when she will offer a nine-night ‘Ultimate Alaska’ voyage, followed by a ten-night wine cruise travelling from Vancouver to San Diego.
Celebrity Millennium’s season in Alaska will commence with a 15-night Panama Canal sailing from Miami to San Diego, after which she will offer a series of seven-night cruises travelling between Vancouver and Seward (Alaska).
Celebrity Summit will return to Bermuda in the summer for a third consecutive season with seven-night itineraries from Cape Liberty in New Jersey before moving in September 2012 to run three 14-night Canada and New England sailings.
The 2012 season in Europe will open and close with transatlantic repositioning sailings ranging from 13 to 15 nights in duration, featuring ports such as Barcelona, Lisbon, the Azores, the Canary Islands and Le Havre.
