Carlson Rezidor Hotel appoints Scott Deibert VP, Strategic Sourcing, Americas

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic hotel companies, announced the appointment of Scott Deibert as vice president of Strategic Sourcing, Americas. Deibert, a veteran procurement expert, began his new role Feb. 13. In his new role, Deibert will focus on providing overall strategic leadership for sourcing and procurement for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in the Americas.

He will report to Suzy Riesterer, executive vice president, Finance and Administration, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. 

“Scott is the ideal person for the role,” said Riesterer. “He will help identify and implement cost-effective and innovative approaches to sourcing and purchasing decisions. He has valuable international experience transforming supply chains to grow revenue and profits for brands.”

Reporting directly to Deibert will be Dave Gatzke, senior director, Strategic Sourcing.

Most recently, Deibert served as senior vice president, Supply Chain Management and Quality Assurance for Fazoli’s System Management, LLC in Lexington, Kent. Prior to that, he gained international experience working for McDonald’s Corporation for 15 years in the United States, Latin America and Asia.

Deibert has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hamline University and a master of business administration degree from Aurora University. He will be based at Carlson’s headquarters in Minneapolis.
