Carlson pledges $200,000 relief to Japan

Carlson, a global hospitality and travel company, today announced its support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and American Red Cross’ recovery efforts in Japan by pledging funds of up to USD 200,000. Carlson Wagonlit Travel®, a global leader specializing in business travel management has donated USD 100,000 to the IFRC, and The Carlson Family Foundation, on behalf of Carlson, will match donations made by guests, customers and employees up to USD 100,000 to the American Red Cross.

Carlson currently operates 57 hotels in Asia Pacific, including the Radisson Hotel Narita, Chiba, Japan. Carlson Wagonlit TravelSato Travel (U.S. Military & Government division) currently has 13 locations in Japan and JTB-CWT Business Travel Solutions offices have 436 employees and Travel Centers in Tokyo and Osaka. T.G.I. Friday’s has nine restaurants in Japan.
