The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, which owns and operates Caltrain, elected officers and welcomed a new board member at its recent meeting.

The Board of Directors unanimously elected San Mateo County Board of Supervisor Adrienne Tissier, who represents the San Mateo County Transit District on the board, chair. Santa Clara County Board of Supervisor Ken Yeager, representing the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, was elected vice chair.

The board also welcomed Malia Cohen at its meeting. San Francisco County Board of Supervisor Cohen represents the City and County of San Francisco on the board, replacing San Francisco County Board of Supervisor Sean Elsbernd.
