Call for the travel industry to interrogate the search engines

A unique chance for the travel industry to interrogate the search engines and ask them the most searching questions will take place at the World Travel Market.

The “Ask the Engines” seminar at the World Travel Market on the 10th November, at the ExCel centre in London, brings together representatives from the major search engines (Google, Yahoo! and Bing) where they will face questions from Paul Reilly, Head of Search at Stickyeyes, on behalf of the travel industry.

Anyone in the travel industry (marketers, journalists, retailers etc.) with a burning question for the search engines is invited now to send their questions to Paul so he can put them to the search engines on their behalf – this is a unique opportunity to find out the future holds.

The travel sector is one of the most important in search and has been so since the early days.  Changes to algorithms, trademarking, advertising rules and tools, along with the development of social media and product channels have a huge impact.

The search engines try to keep new developments under wraps, which can leave marketers on the wrong foot, with potentially costly implications.
