Buxey takes up sales leadership role with Elite Hotels

Elite Hotels has appointed Marc Buxey as its new group sales director.

Previously director of sales with Q Hotels at Norton Park Hotel, Buxey will be overseeing the development and implementation of the group’s sales strategy across its four hotels.

The independent hotel group operates Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club in East Sussex, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa in Bedfordshire, Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens in Hampshire and The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne.

In this role, Buxey will be responsible for the management of sales activity across all sectors of the business, with a particular focus on the MICE and corporate business travel markets.

Speaking after his appointment, Buxey said: “I’m excited to have this opportunity to transfer my skillset to a forward-thinking company, with hotels which combine fantastic locations, stunning historic buildings and outstanding service.

“Individually each hotel runs a successful events business with corporate clients around the world – my work will be to strengthen the Elite brand and enhance its reputation.”
