Business Travel Market announces further speakers for stellar conference line up

Business Travel Market (BTM), the conference & exhibition for the business travel industry, has today announced even more impressive speakers from across the UK and Europe, who will be joining the 2010 conference programme at ExCel London on 16th and 17th June.

Over 90 speakers will join industry figure-heads such as British Airways’ Willie Walsh and London City Airport’s ceo Richard Gooding at the free to attend two day conference.

With thought provoking discussions and debate across 20 sessions, this year’s conference is focusing on a range of topics – from airlines, to meetings, to crisis situations as well as day to day issues affecting the industry – all delivered by top speakers from a variety of companies.

Newly confirmed speakers include Judith Huisman from Meetings Select.com, Bernard Harrop from IG Management, Tony D’Astolfo from Rearden Commence, Greg Mendoza from Embarque, Raja Segran from Jet Airways.

In addition Tracey Boreham from HRG will be discussing the RFP process and Alison Smith from Carlson Wagonlit Travel will be part of the panel debating how to get meetings spend under control.  Travelport’s Matthew Hall will be tackling ‘unbundling’ and giving the buyers perspective will be Geoff Stafford from HSBC.  Anne Godfrey from the Guild of Travel Management Companies will be representing the TMCs and discussing the developments of European rail.

Also announced today is the new ‘Wild Card’ debate entitled:  ‘Does The Ash Cloud Have A Silver Lining?’  This session examines the how and why of this occurrence with a panel of experts including asking - could it have been handled better, what lessons have been learnt and how will it be handled when it happens again? Speakers include Jo Lloyd - Qatar Airways, Richard Tams – British Airways, Ciaran Kelly – FCm Travel Solutions, Jamie Hindhaugh – BBC and Mike Carrivik from BAR.
