Bugra Berberoglu takes over at Emirates Palace

HE Sultan Al Humairi, managing director of Emirates Palace Company, has confirmed Bugra Berberoglu will take over as the new general manager of Emirates Palace.

He replaces Hans Olbertz who has left the property after three-and-a-half years to take up a position with Kempinski in Vienna.

Berberoglu joins Emirates Palace from the Levant region where he was heading eight Kempinski hotels.

He has a hard act to follow.

Under the guidance of Olbertz Emirates Palace has risen to take its place as one of the finest hotels in the world.

Last year it was recognised by the World Travel Awards - seen by many as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry’ – as the World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Hotel among a host of other awards.
