Wayport’s High-Speed Wired and Wireless Internet Now Available At Four Seasons Hotel New York

NEW YORK - Wayport Inc., the traveler’s choice for portable, high-speed Internet service and traveler information, announces the availability of wired and wireless Internet access at Four Seasons Hotel New York, located at 57 East 57th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues in Manhattan’s premier shopping and business district.
Guests and meeting attendees can now browse the Web, send or receive email and access corporate networks at speeds 50 times faster than traditional dial-up modems or cellular connections from anywhere on the hotel property. Wayport’s wireless Internet access is available in the lobbies, common areas and restaurants, with wired service available in the hotel’s 370 guestrooms, suites and seven meeting rooms.
“Quite simply, Wayport is committed to making life better for business travelers, with always-on technology that allows them to keep in touch with their families and offices while away from home,” said Dave Vucina, chief executive officer, Wayport Inc. “This is particularly important for hotel guests in premier meeting and business destinations such as Four Seasons Hotel New York.”
Four Seasons Hotel New York joins the Four Seasons Austin, Las Vegas and Philadelphia properties, which also offer Wayport service. For a nominal fee, guests of Four Seasons Hotel New York can use Wayport’s wired or wireless Ethernet connection to send and receive email or surf the Web at T1 speed throughout the hotel property. Through a simple connection process, guests and meeting attendees bypass dial-up times, busy signals and the hassle of local access numbers.
In addition, Wayport recently launched its service at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, with plans to launch another major-market U.S. airport by year-end. Currently, the company is offering 50 free wireless connects per user available at wireless service locations through the end of the year to encourage participation in its membership program.
