US Airways unveiled its enhanced and redeveloped web site,, today, offering customer-friendly features that include a streamlined process for checking fares, making reservations, purchasing tickets, checking flight status and accessing Dividend Miles account information.

“US Airways is focused on bringing an ever-broader array of services to our customers,” said B. Ben Baldanza, US Airways senior vice president of marketing. “These enhancements are an extension of our commitment to our customers and represent a sampling of other online modifications being developed for in the coming months.”

Every page has been redesigned to enhance the customer’s online experience so that is recognized as the business and leisure traveler’s best resource for planning trips.

Home Page Access
Use fewer clicks to get needed information. Customers now can access fares, schedules, reservations, Dividend Miles account management and flight status information directly from the home page.

Access existing reservations and user profiles with home page express links
Book reservations with over 45,000 hotels and 50 car rental companies across the country.

Survey a special-promotions fare section displaying E-Savers discounts, seasonal discounts, Internet-only travel bargains and last-minute fare sales
Explore other home page special sections to access airline news, special services, and a handy travelers’ guide with terminal maps, seating diagrams, in-flight entertainment and additional information about traveling on US Airways.

New Fare Search Option
Improved user search options allow customers who have flexible schedules to find the best fares before putting in the date and time of travel.

Searching by fare type provides online customers with the most efficient way to find the specially priced promotions offered by US Airways.

Customers will still have the opportunity to search by specific dates and times if their dates are fixed.

The redesigned web site also features information about all of US Airways’ services, including MetroJet, and will replace the site.US Airways launched its web site in 1996. The site now receives approximately 600,000 visitors weekly.
